Our very own Miriam Weiskind has been making pizza for her neighbors since COVID hit. When design work and pizza tours ran dry, she shifted her energy to pizza making. Breville hooked her up with an oven and Paulie Gee gave her some training in his Brooklyn pizzeria. She decided to use her knowledge not to launch a business selling pizza, but to provide pizza for optional donations. She doesn’t even charge anyone who lost their job or is just generally experiencing hard times. It’s truly incredible and the whole SPT family is extremely proud of Miriam!
