I’ll be hosting a live interview at the Center for Brooklyn History (part of Brooklyn Public Library) with Anthony Mongiello on October 16. Mongiello sued Pizza Hut for $1 Billion after they allegedly stole his invention of stuffed crust pizza. Mongiello comes from a long line of food innovators including his grandfather’s creation of a specialized tin cup for ricotta cheese and his father’s involvement with the first string cheese product with Polly-O. Mongiello is the subject of a recent documentary called Stolen Dough about his stuffed crust pizza and the ensuing law suit.
