The Pizza Box Chronicles: A History of New York’s Most Significant Pizzerias as Told Through Their Boxes

Last we celebrated the opening reception of an exhibition that will blow the minds of humans across the planet. The Pizza Box Chronicles is an exhibition I created with Steph Mantis to display some important New York Pizza artifacts. The main wall hosts a dozen NYC pizza boxes alongside photos of their respective pizzerias. The exhibition will be on display at the City Reliquary through the middle of August.

We have a display case filled with rare pizza artifacts, including pieces from the Lombardi family, Totonno’s, Rizzo’s Fine Pizza, and these vintage pizza slicers.

Here’s our interactive phone station, where you can hear the sounds of NYC’s most significant pizzerias. Come on down and check it out for yourself!
