We’ve been working for months with graphic designer/actress Ciara Moriarty on a brand new version of our pocket pizza journal and the fruits of our labor are finally here! Every guest on our NYC pizza tours gets one of these adorable books for tasting notes but we thought it was time to freshen things up. The cover is inspired by the composition pads we used to use in grade school, but with pizza toppings instead of that funny squiggly black and white pattern.
On the inside, we have a new section so guests can write down the name of their tour guide. This also gives them an email address they can use to contact the company/guide.
Since we get so many inquiries about SPT t-shirts, we added a page directing guests to a special URL for web store purchases, including shirts, hats, and gift certificates. On the opposite side of the spread, there’s a new version of our pizza dough recipe. Best part is the QR code that will bring guests directly to a hidden page on our web site featuring videos of the pizza making process. Hopefully those videos will help people make better pizza at home.
Finally, the back of the notebook is a cleaned-up contact page featuring some of our most used social media platforms and, of course, the main email address for questions and private tour inquiries.
