The entire country has been experiencing a truly impressive series of protests over the past few weeks but unfortunately small bursts of violence and looting have marred otherwise peaceful demonstrations. Sadly, many independent businesses have been vandalized and looted including a pizzeria near Union Square called Mani In Pasta. The proprietor, Giuseppe Manco, is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and a truly great pizza maker. His pizza style is Roman pizza integlia, or pan pizza.
